A Cosy Boutique
Let’s face it — shopping for clothes can be an ordeal.
Trying on items in hopes of finding something that will look good, can be time consuming and frustrating.
You sure would welcome some sound wardrobe advice.
Fortunately, you just need to go to The Cinnamon Tree, a cosy women’s clothing boutique at 658 -10th Street.
Owner Gwen Bromley’s training in fashion merchandising and retail management, plus several years experience in women’s wear, gives her insight into the styles that will look good on a customer.

First-timers usually don’t realize that when Gwen casually suggests they try on a particular item, it will be perfect for them.
Often it is something they would never think to choose, but are impressed after putting it on.
“You can build confidence through fashion,” Gwen says.
“When someone wears clothing that suits them, they look and feel good. And, they receive compliments on their appearance.”
She can help put together a wardrobe and offer advice on how to get the most wear out of each item.
“You can take a lace skirt, for example, and wear it with a dressy top and heels to go out to dinner,” says Gwen.
“It can also be paired with a denim jacket and sandals for a trip to the grocery store.”
It isn’t necessary to have a lot of clothes, according to Gwen. Investing in a few well chosen pieces will take you anywhere.
“If each piece is carefully selected, then you can mix and match,” she says.
“Every season has a colour trend and you can refresh your wardrobe with a scarf and jewellery in those colours.”
